This AMF reciprocating bread slicer has the unique “V” shaped slicing harps which minimizes the crushing of the bread as it is passed through the slicing blades.

As shown in the photos, we have two sets of slicing blade harps for this slicer.

The ¼” slicing harps [where my brother used only every other blade to yield ½” slices
The 7/16” slicing harps

These reciprocating slicers are good for crusty and specialty hearth loaves (raisin, heavily seeded, etc.) that do not lend themselves to bread band slicers.
